This seminar will explore how territorial instruments of EU Cohesion Policy – including Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI) and Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) – can contribute to more integrated, place-sensitive, and strategically coordinated development across governance levels and spatial scales.

The seminar will draw on findings from the recent evaluation of EU Cohesion Policy’s territorial instruments and the ESPON SENPO project, examining both the opportunities and challenges of aligning territorial instruments with regional policy and spatial planning frameworks.
Topics include:

🔹 Synergies between EU and domestic territorial instruments

The seminar is part of the broader series on contemporary European territorial challenges, jointly organised by the Stichting EPRC Delft and the Spatial Planning & Strategy Section.
