METREX members are invited to join the European Life-SMART project conference entitled ‘Energy transition in small municipalities: challenges and opportunities’.

The project brought together territories from Greece, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of small municipalities to plan and implement energy transition policies.

The conference will provide a platform for exchange between European partners, local authorities, and national and European institutions, focusing on the role that small territories can play in advancing the energy transition.

The event will offer the opportunity to:
• discover the results and tools developed within the project
• learn from replicable experiences from across Europe
• discuss policy frameworks and support instruments for small municipalities

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and remote participation. Simultaneous translation into English and Italian will be available.
