MECOG-CE Transnational Project Partners Meeting

The Metropolitan City of Turin will host the upcoming MECOG-CE (Strengthening metropolitan cooperation and governance in central Europe) transnational partners meeting from the 11th to the 13th of November 2025, within the framework of the Interreg Central Europe Programme.
The event will bring together all MECOG-CE partners to discuss progress, exchange experiences, and plan the final steps of the project. METREX, as an associated partner, will also take part in the discussions and knowledge exchange sessions.
The meeting will open on Tuesday, 11 November, with a study visit to the Ex Caserma Beleno in Venaria Reale, a regeneration initiative and hub for culture and social innovation developed through the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
Over the following days, participants will work on strategies for strengthening metropolitan cooperation and governance, review action plans from partner cities, and discuss the future role of metropolitan areas in the new EU Multiannual Financial Framework. The meeting will also prepare for the project’s final conference in Brno and explore post-project collaboration opportunities.
