As a partner in the Horizon Europe project R-Map, METREX is pleased to share access to the project’s new platform and to invite your feedback as metropolitan and regional practitioners.
R-Map examines how remote work is reshaping European regions – economically, socially, environmentally, and spatially. The platform combines data from a 20,000-respondent survey across six European regions with open data from Eurostat and other sources, presented as interactive maps at NUTS regional level. You can explore the Platform at this link: https://r-map.eu/r-map-platform/
We warmly invite you to share your feedback!
Two components are available:
- Dataset Observatory: browse indicators, filter by year, drill into regions, and compare datasets on the same map.
- Model Visualization: a dashboard for R-Map’s Integrated Impact Assessment Model, showing how remote work influences regional economy, mobility, social cohesion, and land use, with country comparisons, factor influence, causal networks, and what-if scenarios.Full integration is in progress.
A few minutes clicking through both components, followed by a structured reply using the feedback form, noting what is most relevant to your work and what seems missing or unclear, would directly inform the next development cycle.
No prior knowledge of R-Map is needed – fresh perspectives are precisely what the project Team is looking for.
